We Owe You Photos

We have some photos, but I haven't sat down at the computer in days. This is a major change in my 'net-surfing, time-killing days from pre-Adam. It's strange to think that this is not what the entirety of parenthood looks like--eventually, we will figure out how to do more with a day than feed us all and occasionally use the bathroom.

We've had a variety of feeding adventures--Adam was a Slow Pooper, so we were rooting for him there for a few days. In the past 24 hours he made up for it with a vengeance, though. I imagine that parents will be familiar with the concept of Projectile Poop, but it was news to me. I removed the poopy diaper, and, while reaching for a wipe, was fired upon by a horizontal blast of fresh poop. Luckily, he was in the bassinet, which took the brunt of the damage. But seriously, he got almost two feet of distance out of that, and it was only stopped by hitting the side of the bassinet--two or three inches above the mattress.

Now that we have his feeding straightened out, his sleeping has improved greatly--to the point where he's hard to wake up when you need to, but hopefully these things will equalize when he gets used to using his digestive system to its fullest potential.

It's almost 8, so I think we're all going to bed. We'll work on photos soon, I promise--I want to take some of his very stern facial expressions--he has one that involves one cocked eyebrow, which conveys quite clearly the message, "I don't know who you think you are, but I'm certainly not planning to do anything to rile you up."

Except maybe poop on me.

Overdue Notice

I've decided that the baby is waiting till tomorrow, so that all three of us will have birthdays on the 21st of a month. Or, Jo's dream is accurate and it'll happen today. I would like to get one more nap in before zero hour, though, so I'd better get cracking.

Full of Baby

Every time I look at a photo, I'm surprised again how huge I am! Look at the picture; I feel half that big. Which is still pretty darned big. I think this baby should come soon, before I don't fit in the viewfinder anymore.

Two Days Until Zero Hour

And this is what that looks like...
