Farm Family Fun

Grandma and Gramps came up for the weekend, and we had a lot of fun.  They spent the day with Adam on Friday, and then on Saturday, we went up to the farm for the afternoon.

"We made a campfire and cooked supper with sticks and had hot dogs for supper."

Adam drew on the bridge with chalk.

He ate a ridiculous--like, unnatural for a full grown adult, never mind a two year old--amount of watermelon.

(See that Tupperware?  That large, large Tupperware? It was empty an hour later.)

Then he spent a lot of time throwing rocks in the pond with Nana and Grandma and Mama.  He learned to throw overhand, and we imitated the different sounds that rocks make when they fall in the water (plink, ploink, splash, plop), which made him laugh hysterically.

It was a really amazing, fun day.  Marsha put together a great event, Dylan can skip any rock, not just flat ones, and everyone had a great time.  Thanks everybody!
